² The Plesk Power Pack is an optional addon and it unlocks ability to use SpamAssassin, MSSQL, Tomcat, ColdFusion, AppVault and HelpDesk through Plesk for Windows. It requires a valid Plesk license. The Power Pack does not actually license individual components such as MSSQL. It provides the hooks between the application and the Plesk control panel.

  Do I get full Administrator access?

On Windows VPS you get full RDP access, and you can install any compatible Windows application. You have read/write access to all server files. While no one else can see or access your files.

  What is VPS?

VPS/VDS: Virtual Private/Dedicated Servers fill the gap between shared hosting and a dedicated server, it's a bit like 'broadband' hosting, all the benefits of a dedicated server without the worry.

Control: A virtual private server gives you root access to the system, this allows you to modify server configuration files, install applications or modify system software, in a shared environment you have to rely on server settings that are 'best fit' for all clients and this may not suit your needs.   Our Hardware and Software

We own all of our hardware and software. We use Intel Dual-Core Woodcrest Xeons CPUs or Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs. The servers have between 6GB and 12GB of RAM, and multiple SCSI drives set in a RAID 5 or RAID 10 configuration. See our hardware page for details.

We use Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 as the backend to provide VPS solutions.

  How many domains can I host?

If you choose a package without Plesk, you can configure as many domains as you wish. If you choose a package with Plesk, you are limited by the number of domains included with your license. In addition to these limits, there are many things that can limit the number of domains you can host.
