How to Access Support
As of November 16, 2007, PowerVPS is moving to a new system to manage your VPS as well as support requests. Customers who signed up prior to this date will continue to use the existing system and support portal for requests. All accounts created after that date will use our new helpdesk.
Please be sure to submit your support requests to the correct helpdesk.
Using the wrong helpdesk will result in a delay in being able to respond to you.
How to know which support portal to use:
If...
- Your VPS ID is LESS than 8000 or
- You signed up BEFORE November 16, 2007 or
- You use the Virtuozzo PowerPanel to manage your VPS
(your welcome email says to access your PowerPanel using http://yourip:4643)
Click here to access the legacy support portal.
If...
- Your VPS ID is GREATER than 8000 or
- You signed up ON or AFTER November 16, 2007 or
- You use the HSPComplete panel to manage your billing and VPS
(your welcome email says to manage your VPS at http://my.powervps.com)
Click here to access our new helpdesk at http://www.dtghelpdesk.com.
Below is a guide to the approximate response times for support requests opened through our online help desk:
- Severity 1 = 15 minute response time
- Severity 2 = 4 hour response time
- Severity 3 = 24 hour response time
- Non-urgent = "When we can get to it"
A Severity 1 ticket should only be used when a server is completely down. It is not intended for situations where email not working, or for example when a single website is inaccessable. Tickets submitted with an inappropriate severity level will be reassigned to a more appropriate one.

The nature of this category is self explanatory however we thought it would be good to define a little further the concept behind our offering complementary support. As a valued client, we have no hesitation to going above and beyond the typical base level of support for you. Though it is important to remember that we strive for the highest level of support available, and as such need to be sure that we can continue to expand our support team as needed to fulfill your requirements. As such if your task is not covered under this listing, or the standard base support services, please see our paid services for more thorough assistance. We are proud to offer you the below as a courtesy support line to show our appreciation for your business.
